The Sims 4 Celebrates Outdoor Retreat Release With Launch Trailer

Electronic Arts and Maxis announced that The Sims 4 Outdoor Retreat, the first game pack for The Sims 4, is available today.

The pack allows players to take their Sims on vacation to Granite Falls, a wooded, mountainous region nestled on a lake. Sims are able to set up camp and venture out into the woods, where they could encounter new insects and plants. Outdoor Retreat includes new outdoor activities for Sims to do such as stargazing, playing horseshoes, and sitting around the campfire. The pack also includes a bear costume, which lets Sims create some mischief around the campsite.

Maxis also announced that The Sims 4 will be releasing on Mac sometime in February. Much like how EA handled SimCity's Mac release, players who have purchased The Sims 4 on PC will be able to download the Mac version for no additional charge.

The Sims 4 Outdoor Retreat is available now for $19.99 via digital delivery from EA's Origin storefront, as well as other online shops.
